Have you always wanted to try MUN but never had the opportunity to? Or are you a MUN veteran and looking for a fun session? The MUN committee of SIB, MUNDUNSA, is excited to announce our introduction week event on the 24th of February. Since our chosen theme is the 1990s, you can take part in an intriguing session of the Historical United Nations Security Council. The specific event we will be focussing on will be announced soon. I am really looking forward to seeing you there and having engaging discussions and debates.

In February we have a few exciting events coming up. This one particular event on the 23rd of February will be especially interesting, as 15 members will have an afternoon tea with the Australian Ambassador, His Excellency Matthew Neuhaus at his residence

The Future Energy Supply to Europe: How will dependence on Russia affect European synchrony?

It is a matter of fact that the European Union won’t be able to supply itself in terms of energy in the long-term. The rising gas prices in Europe have given us a look of what our reality in the future will look like and this is also a relevant question for the current standoff in Ukraine.

This topic has sparked our interest and therefore SIB’s Committee of Intellectual Activities will host an event on the Russian energy supply to Europe on the 21st of February.
