Hi guys!,
We are happy to announce that SIB Amsterdam is hosting another event during the New Year with the Hague Conference on Private International Law (HCCH). The event will take place on the 29th of January at 17:00. With a total of 86 members (85 States and the European Union), the HCCH is a global inter-governmental organisation and responsible for developing conventions that provide clarity and direction in cross-border relations in three main areas: family law and child protection, dispute resolution and recognition of documents, and commercial and financial law. The ultimate goal of the organisation is to work for a world in which, despite the differences between legal systems, persons - individuals as well as companies - can enjoy a high degree of legal security. Legal officer Ms. Nicole Sims is going to give some more insight into the work of the HCCH, which we will wrap up with a closing question round. It is promising to be an interesting night, so don’t forget to sign up via the link!
