  • SIB Amsterdam 170 Nieuwe Achtergracht Amsterdam, NH, 1018 WV Netherlands (map)

Is marine conservation in Panama something of interest to you? Then the April CIA Diplomat Talks is the place to further your knowledge on the subject! For the month of April we have invited the Embassy of Panama as our speaker to discuss the environmental issues the country faces. Due to its position, Panama has a great impact on the world’s climate when it comes to global biodiversity and ocean currents. Therefore, marine conservation in the area has become a global priority. The Ambassador of Panama, H.E. Elizabeth Ward Neiman, will give a lecture on the challenges that Panama faces due to pollution and overexploitation, and the overall diplomatic actions that have to be taken in order to improve the current situation.
